Preserve manufacturer spelling and exact part-number punctuation. Similar strings are not silently merged.

Record what changed with separate effective and knowledge clocks and an explicit event domain.

Map the assembly, interface, process and customer scope that make migration consequential.

Separate facts, inferences, engineering judgment, recommendations and unknowns.

An identified candidate is not a qualified replacement. OEM status is modeled separately.

Compatibility is dimension-based and qualification is always bound to a defined scope.

Output defensible actions such as monitor, lifetime buy, qualify, redesign or insufficient evidence.
